How To Reach Gaya
By Rail :
Being a major railhead, all the major trains pass through the place. Gaya is healthily linked with several major cities of India, such as Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi. Another important railhead is Patna situated near Gaya. All the major trains go through this station. One such important train is the Mahabodhi Express which runs between Delhi and Gaya on a daily basis. It takes 16 hours to reach the holy place.
By Road :
Gaya is connected by GT Road to various cities of north India which include Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Hazaribagh, Kolkata, Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Delhi and Amritsar.
By Air :
The international airport in Gaya links it with various cities like Bangkok, Colombo and Singapore. From Patna airport, one can easily hire a taxi or bus to reach the holy city.
